Title: Guarantees for Bonds and Notes Issued for Electrification or Telephone Purposes 
Abstract: The Rural Utilities Service, an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture, proposes to amend its regulations for the guarantee program for cooperative and other not-for-profit lenders that make loans for eligible electric and telephone purposes to implement changes adapted in the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (Pub. L. 110-246). The intended effect will update agency regulations to reflect current statutory authority.
