Title: Direct Single Family Loans and Grants--Repayment Ability 
Abstract: The Rural Housing Service proposes to revise 7 CFR part 3550 by removing the requirement that a budget be completed as a determination of repayment ability. However, this change will not remove the requirement that applicants show repayment ability for a loan, but by removing the requirement that a budget be used, it will give the Agency greater flexibility such as the ability to utilize repayment ratios.
