| Title: ●7 CFR Part 3550 Implementation of Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) of Single Family Housing (SFH) Direct Programs | |
|
Abstract:
In response to Public Law 114-201 dated July 29, 2016 (HOTMA), and subsequent implementation of Sections 102, 103, and 104 through a final rule published February 14, 2023, the Rural Housing Service (RHS) intends to amend 7 CFR 3550 in order to be compliant with exception of the adoption of 24 CFR 5.611(a)(3) which increases the deduction threshold for medical expenses from annual household income due to the impact on borrowers and applicants. The changes addressed in this request include updates to adjusted income calculations and clarification of items included or excluded in Annual Income and Assets. |
