Title: U.S. Honey Producer Research, Promotion, and Consumer Information Order and Referendum Procedures (AMS-FV-07-0091) 
Abstract: The U.S. Honey producers voted in a referendum conducted by USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service from May 17 to June 4, 2010, to determine whether they wanted to implement the U.S. Honey Producers Research and Promotion Program. In the referendum, 41 percent of those who voted favored the program and 59 percent opposed the program; and 52 percent of the volume voted favored the program and 48 percent of the volume opposed the program. Any producer who produced 100,000 pounds or more of honey during the representative period from January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008, was eligible to vote. Based on the referendum results (must pass by both vote and volume), the Order will be withdrawn and Referendum Procedures terminated.
