Abstract:
This document provides USDA’s recommended decision on the proposed Federal marketing order for pecans and gives notice to the public of their opportunity to file written exceptions or comments on it. The proposed marketing agreement and order under the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937 (Act) would regulate the handling of pecans grown in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas. The proposal was submitted to USDA by the American Pecan Board (Board) on behalf of the pecan industry. |
