| Title: Rules of Practice | |
| Abstract: The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is amending the regulations concerning the rules of practice that apply to Agency enforcement actions. In response to comments received on the proposed rule and its experience under the Pathogen Reduction; Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Systems, FSIS is defining each type of enforcement action that it may take, the conditions under which it is likely to take each of these actions, and the procedures that it will follow in doing so. This rule is part of FSIS's ongoing efforts to consolidate, streamline, and clarify the meat and poultry product inspection regulations. | |
