Title: Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations: Revision to Return of Administrative Funding Requirement  
Abstract:

This rule would remove a regulatory requirement for the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) at 7 CFR 253.11(i)(2) requiring State agencies and Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs) to return to the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) any unobligated funds within 90 days following the close of each Federal fiscal year, which ends on September 30.  This requirement is no longer necessary now that the funds are provided on a two-year basis.
