Title: ●Child Nutrition Programs: Restoration of Milk, Whole Grains, and Sodium Flexibilities | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule would amend regulations to provide flexibility regarding flavored milk served as part of a school meal or snack through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP), sold on the school campus outside of those Programs, served to children and adult participants through the Child and Adult Care Food Program, or served to children participants through the Special Milk Program. It also seeks to provide flexibility with regard to NSLP and SBP requirements relating to whole grains and sodium. |
