Title: Idaho Roadless Rule--Idaho Panhandle National Forests Map Modifications and Corrections 
Abstract: Pursuant to 36 CFR section 294.27(b) of the Idaho Roadless Rule, the Chief of the Forest Service may modify Idaho Roadless Areas after a 45-day public notice and opportunity to comment. Since promulgation of the Idaho Roadless Rule, lands have been acquired in five roadless areas and errors have been found concerning two roadless area theme classifications and in the table at 36 CFR 294.29. Additional lands were acquired in 2008, after the Idaho Roadless Rule was promulgated. These lands are located within and/or adjacent to five roadless areas (Big Creek, Grandmother Mountain, Pinchot Butte, Roland Point, and Wonderful Peak). In addition, two errors have been found concerning Forest Plan Special Areas (eligible Wild & Scenic Rivers) which are not consistent with the Idaho Panhandle National Forests' forest plan. Buckhorn Ridge #661 will be added to the Kootenai National Forest in the list in 36 CFR section 294.29. This roadless area is split between the Kootenai and Idaho Panhandle National Forests and was inadvertently left off the list for the Kootenai.
