Abstract:

This rule would align the Forest Service National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations with the updated Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) NEPA regulations while increasing efficiency in agency project analysis and decision-making. The rule would also include two new categorical exclusions and provide clarifications on items to include within agency environmental analyses.
