Title: Rule Governing the Take of Seven Threatened Evolutionarily Significant Units (ESUs) of West Coast Salmonids 
Abstract: NMFS is proposing to issue protective regulations for seven Evolutionarily Significant Units (ESUs) of west coast salmon listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). These regulations will apply section 9(a) prohibitions except with respect to certain benign and beneficial actions and specific actions taken consistent with approved conservation and fishery management plans.
