Title: Fisheries in the Western Pacific; Pelagic Fisheries; American Samoa Longline Limited Entry Permits 
Abstract: NMFS takes this action to modify the requirements for participating in the American Samoa limited entry longline fishery to reopen the application process to allow additional opportunities to apply for permits, consistent with the initial criteria, and eliminating the minimum landing requirements which are required for permit retention. The action would maintain opportunity for substantial participation by indigenous islanders and other qualified participants in the fishery.
