Title: Fisheries in the Western Pacific; Pelagic Fisheries; American Samoa Longline Gear Requirements 
Abstract: Class B, C, and D vessels in the American Samoa deep-set longline fishery would be required to set hooks deeper than 100 meters and would be prohibited from possessing or landing more than 10 swordfish at any time during a given trip. The action would minimize sea turtle interactions so that the fishery is sustainable with minimal impact to green sea turtles.
