Title: Amendment 83 to the Fishery Management Plan for Groundfish of the Gulf of Alaska 
Abstract: This rulemaking establishes Pacific cod allocations in the Gulf of Alaska among the jig, trawl, hook-and-line, and pot sectors. This action also would limit access to the parallel fishery for Federal fishery participants. This action is necessary to reduce uncertainty and contribute to stability across the sectors, while providing consideration of fishing communities and entry-level opportunities for the jig sector.
