Title: Fisheries in the Western Pacific; Hawaii Bottomfish and Seamount Groundfish; Measures To Rebuild Overfished Armorhead at Hancock Seamounts 
Abstract: The National Marine Fisheries Service and Western Pacific Fishery Management Council are amending the Fishery Ecosystem Plan for the Hawaiian Archipelago. This action: (1) Continues a moratorium indefinitely on fishing for armorhead (Pseudopentaceros wheeleri) until the stock is rebuilt; (2) establishes a minimum rebuilding time of 35 years for the U.S. portion of the armorhead stock; and (3) classifies the portion of the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone surrounding the Hancock Seamounts as an ecosystem management area.
