Title: ●A Control Date for the Purpose of Limiting Excessive Accumulation of Control of the Northeast Multispecies Fishery 
Abstract: The New England Fishery Management Council (Council) voted at its January 2011, meeting to establish a control date for accumulation limits in the NE multispecies fishery. This Federal Register document will establish the control date as the date of publication in the Federal Register, and promote awareness of the potential development of management measures that would restrict excessive consolidation in the fishery and to discourage speculative behavior in the market for quota or days-at-sea while the Council considers whether and how management measures should be developed.
