Title: ●Emergency Action to Set Red Snapper Accountability Measures for the Recreational Sector of the Gulf of Mexico Reef Fish Fishery 
Abstract:

This action would set an annual catch target annual catch target of 4.312 million pounds by applying a 20% buffer to the recreational quota (5.390 million pounds). The annual catch target would be used by NMFS to set the length of the 2014 recreational season, thereby decreasing the likelihood of exceeding the quota. Thus, this action would also announce the closure date of the 2014 season, which begins on June 1, 2014.
