Title: Small-Mesh Multispecies 2015-2017 Specifications 
Abstract: This action set the small-mesh multispecies specifications for the 2015-2017 fishing years. This action also finalized the following changes to reduce the potential for northern red hake catches to exceed the acceptable biological catch and potentially cause overfishing: reduced the northern red hake possession limit from, and implemented an additional possession limit reduction trigger for northern red hake of 1,500 lb when 45 percent of the total allowable landings are reached. This action included a correction to the regulations to account for an underestimate of the 2012-2014 acceptable biological catch. Due to the underestimate, 2012 catch rates were only 27.5 percent over the Annual Catch Limit rather than the previously determined 45 percent. This action corrected the northern red hake accountability measure trigger to account for the underestimate.
