Title: Amendment 15 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Shrimp Fishery of the Gulf of Mexico, U.S. Waters
Abstract: This rule modified the overfishing and overfished thresholds for three species of penaeid shrimp (brown, white, and pink) and adjusted the framework procedure for the fishery management plan. The action was necessary to determine the status of each penaeid shrimp stock while using the best available science, and to streamline the management process for Gulf of Mexico shrimp stocks.
