Title: ●Framework Action to the Fishery Management Plan for the Reef Fish Resources of the Gulf of Mexico to Modify Gear Restrictions and the Fishing Year for Yellowtail Snapper  
Abstract: This Framework Action would modify the gear requirements to allow the use of J-hooks for the commercial harvest of yellowtail snapper south of Cape Sable, Florida, and adjust the commercial and recreational fishing year to coincide with the South Atlantic regulations, August 1 through July 31. This action would simplify the regulations so that they are consistent between the Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic.
