Title: ●Abbreviated Framework Amendment 5 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Snapper-Grouper Fishery of the South Atlantic Region (Abbreviated Framework 5) 
Abstract:

The Council is developing this routine abbreviated framework action to increase the acceptable biological catch (ABC) and annual catch limits (ACL) for blueline tilefish based on the Southeast Data, Assessment and Review 92 (2025) stock assessment and the ABC recommendation from the Council’s Scientific and Statistical Committee.  Abbreviated Framework 5 would base conservation and management measures on the best scientific information available.  This action is consistent with the authority in section 303(b)(3)(A) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (Magnuson-Stevens Act).  The National Marine Fisheries Service is issuing this proposed rule to implement Abbreviated Framework 5 pursuant to section 304(b) of the Magnuson-Stevens Act.
