Abstract: The United States Patent and Trademark Office amends its rules of practice in connection with inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board to require initial disclosure of certain information, to make a telephone conference a prerequisite to the filing of an unconsented motion, and to permit service of documents by e-mail.
