Title: Miscellaneous Changes to Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Rules 
Abstract: The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office amends its rules of practice in connection with inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board to require that plaintiffs serve notice of their claims directly on defendants, to follow the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure insofar as they require disclosure by parties of certain types of discoverable information and pre-trial disclosures, and to permit service of documents by e-mail.
