| Title: Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC): Revision of the Export Administration Regulations To Impose Controls on Exports, Reexports, and Transfers to Persons Pursuant to Executive Order 13413 | |
| Abstract: This rule implements Executive Order 13413 of October 27, 2006, which the President issued in response to continuing widespread violence and atrocities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The rule is consistent with several U.N. Security Council resolutions. This rule amends the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to require a license for exports, reexports and transfers of all items subject to the EAR to persons whose property and interests in property, as determined by the Office of Foreign Assets Control, are blocked pursuant to Executive Order 13413. | |
