| Title: Five Axis Simultaneous Controlled Milling Machines: License Exception Eligibility and Fast Track Application Processing | |
| Abstract: The Bureau of Industry and Security is amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to ensure that U.S. machine tool manufacturers are not competitively disadvantaged by export controls, while maintaining the national security of the United States. This rule makes certain five axis simultaneous controlled milling machines controlled under Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) 2B001 eligible for License Exceptions GBS and CIV. This rule also establishes a "fast-track" review mechanism for certain five axis simultaneous controlled milling machines controlled under ECCNs 2B001.b.2 and 2B201.b.2. | |
