Title: ●Clarification of Grace Period for Encryption Registration Requirement
Abstract: This rule clarifies the intent of the grace period for the encryption registration requirement that appeared in a rule published on June 25, 2010. While the rule provided a grace period for the encryption registration requirement until August 24, 2010, it did not intend to negate the requirement to obtain the encryption registration. This rule clarifies this point by adding two sentences to the Export Administration Regulations. In addition, this rule removes an incorrect email address listed in the rule.
