Abstract: Pursuant to Executive Order 13022, jurisdiction and responsibility for the Midway Islands transferred to the Department of the Interior (DOI) on October 31, 1996. This action removes obsolete regulations governing the Midway Islands, which have been superceded by regulations promulgated by the DOI at 50 CFR 38.
