Title: Reporting of Government Property Losses (DFARS Case 2008-D049) 
Abstract: This rule was to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to address requirements for DoD contractors to report any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of Government property using the Defense Contract Management Agency eTools application. The rule would have provided a clause at DFARS 252.245-7002, Reporting Loss of Government property, that requires DoD contractors to report the loss, theft, damage, and destruction of Government property to the DCMA eTools application. The rule would also have eliminated unnecessarily duplicative language in clause 252.245-7002, Reporting Loss of Government Property, and made other editorial changes. The rule was expected to have a positive or beneficial impact on small entities by making available a Government-provided software application to use for reporting purposes. any start-up costs were expected to be minimal. This rule is now identified by the Regulatory Identification Number (RIN) 0750-AG64 and has been withdrawn under this RIN.
