Title: Warranty Tracking of Serialized Items (DFARS Case 2014-D026) 
Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to provide additional guidance for implementation of the DFARS warranty provision at DFARS 252.246-7005 and DFARS clause 252.246-7006. The proposed rule provides instructions for the electronic submission of warranty tracking information for serialized items for use by all DoD components. DoD does not expect this rule to have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities.
