Title: ●Eliminate Obsolete Data Collection Requirement (DFARS Case 2015-D031)
Abstract:

DoD is issuing a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to eliminate an obsolete data collection requirement for award and incentive fee reports.  DFARS 216.401-70, Data collection, implemented section 814 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2007 under Public Law 109-364. The law required military departments and defense agencies to provide data for each contract containing award or performance incentive provisions that have an estimated contract value greater than $50 million at the end of the reporting period.  Section 814 was a one-time reporting requirement that has been fulfilled.
