Title: Deletion of Supplemental Coverage for the Definition of "Simplified Acquisition Threshold" (DFARS Case 2016-D007) 
Abstract:

DoD issued a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to delete the supplemental definition for simplified acquisition threshold with regard to humanitarian or peacekeeping operations at DFARS part 202. This DFARS rule was parallel processed with a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) rule (FAR case 2015-020), which added the definition of simplified acquisition threshold for humanitarian or peacekeeping operations to FAR part 2. This supplemental definition in the DFARS is no longer necessary, now that the definition is provided in the FAR.
