DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to: (1) Update the clause at DFARS 252.225-7040, Contractor Personnel Supporting U.S. Armed Forces Deployed Outside the United States, to include current requirements for contractor personnel supporting U.S. Armed Forces outside the United States; and (2) add a new clause to be used in lieu of the clause at DFARS 252.225-7040 in a non-contingency environment that will address Combatant Commander requirements for accurate, real-time contractor accountability information in a non-contingency environment, while also reducing the burden associated with compliance with the full clause at DFARS 252.225-7040.
