Abstract:
DoD is issuing a final rule to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to repeal the solicitation provision 252.222-7007, Representation Regarding Combating Trafficking in Persons. Since the Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.222-50, Combating Trafficking in Persons, is applicable to all solicitations and contracts, and provides comprehensive coverage that exceeds the requirements of the DFARS provision. The removal of this DFARS provision supports a recommendation from the DoD Regulatory Reform Task Force. |
