Title: ●Modification of DFARS Clause "Surge Option" (DFARS Case 2018-D025) 
Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to modify the clause at DFARS 252.217-7001, Surge Option, to update an outdated reference in the clause and add language that would allow contractors to provide quotes for surge requirements based on quantity increases, in order to match current commercial practices. The modification of this DFARS clause supports a recommendation from the DoD Regulatory Reform Task Force.
