| Title: Quick-Closeout Procedures Threshold (DFARS Case 2021-D001) | |
|
Abstract:
DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to make changes to the quick-closeout procedures threshold at FAR 42.708, partially in response to GAO report 17-738, Federal Contracting: Additional Management Action Needed to Close Contracts and Reduce Audit Backlog. The rule would support the ability of DoD to maintain oversight of: (1) the components' progress in meeting their goals on closing contracts; and (2) the status of contracts eligible for closeout. |
