Title: Use of DoD Program Nomenclature (DFARS Case 2021-D002) 
Abstract:

DoD is issuing a final rule to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to ensure DoD and its authorized suppliers are not restricted in the use of certain DoD program nomenclature, such as program names and assigned DoD systems designations that are assigned and approved by the Government pursuant to established departmental procedures. DoD hosted a virtual public meeting on March 22, 2024, to obtain the views of interested parties regarding the proposed rule. DoD advertised the public meeting in the Federal Register and on its website.
