Title: Inflation Adjustment of Acquisition-Related Thresholds (DFARS Case 2024-D002) 
Abstract:

DoD is issuing a final rule amending the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to make adjustments of the statutory acquisition-related thresholds for inflation and other acquisition-related thresholds as a matter of policy. The adjustments to the thresholds are planned to be effective October 1, 2025.

Overall Description of Deadline: 41 U.S.C. 1908(c) requires, "[o]n October 1 of each year evenly divisible by 5," the adjustment of "each acquisition-related dollar threshold provided by law, as described in subsection (b)(1), to the baseline constant dollar value of that threshold."
