The Department of Defense (DoD) proposes to add content to address problematic sexual behavior in children and youth via a Coordinated Community Response in accordance with Section 1089 of Public Law 115-232 which provides requirements for policy on the response to allegations of juvenile-on-juvenile problematic sexual behavior committed on military installations. These revisions will help  identify, report, respond, and intervene with appropriate treatment and services to help military-affiliated children, youth, and their families who have been affected by problematic sexual behavior in children and youth. In addition, this revision also removes internal policy and will subsume 32 CFR part 60, "Family Advocacy Command Assistance Team (FACAT)," as a subpart in order to consolidate and streamline rules related to the Family Advocacy Program. When finalized, 32 CFR part 60 can be repealed.
