View Rule

This final rule removes 32 CFR part 249 concerning the presentation of DoD-related scientific and technical papers at meetings. The codified rule contains internal guidance relating to the presentation of DoD scientific and technical papers at meetings and should be removed from the CFR. Moreover, it has been determined that publication of this CFR part removal for public comment is impracticable, unnecessary, and contrary to public interest since it is based on removing DoD internal policies and procedures that are publically available on the Department's issuance web site. The revisions to this rule are part of DoD's retrospective plan under Executive Order 13563 completed in August 2011.
