| Title: Transitional Compensation (TC) for Abused Dependents | |

Abstract:
This rule establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures governing the administration of transitional compensation (TC) for abused dependents. Dependent abuse is conduct by a servicemember on active duty for a period of more than 30 days that involves abuse of the spouse or a dependent child of the member. This conduct must be a criminal offense as defined in sections 10 U.S.C. 801-940 or other criminal code applicable to the jurisdiction where the act of abuse is committed. |
