| Title: Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) | |

Abstract:
This rule establishes the Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program, defined as military training conducted off base, not on military property owned, leased, or utilized by DoD or State military including the National Guard, primarily in the underserved civilian community. The IRT program is primarily focused on training military units and personnel under the jurisdiction of the Secretaries of the Military Departments. This program offers essential training to underserved communities and entities in austere or remote locations off base. |
