Abstract:
This final rule removes DoD’s regulation concerning the procedures for trials by military commissions of certain non-United States citizens in the war against terrorism. This rule pertains to a military function of the United States and is exempt from rulemaking requirements. Previously, this rule was published for informational purposes only. Therefore, these parts can be removed from the CFR. It has been determined that publication of this CFR part removal for public comment is impracticable, unnecessary, and contrary to public interest since it is based on removing information that served its purpose and is no longer of public use. |
