DOD/OS RIN: 0790-AK32 Publication ID: Fall 2018
Title: ●Standardization Rates of Subsistence and Commulation Instead of Uniforms for Members of the Senior Reserve Officer's Training Corps
Abstract:

This final rule will remove DoD's part which provided detailed business rules and accounting information in order to provide subsistence and commutation instead of uniforms to members of Senior ROTC Programs (first published January 5, 1986 (51 FR 26886)). Examples of eligible colleges and universities include The Citadel and Virginia Military Institute where students wear a uniform prescribed by the institution instead of Service specific uniforms. This part has not been updated since 1986 and the data is outdated.  The contents of this part are internal to DoD and it will be removed from the CFR.
