Title: Privacy Act of 1974; Implementation (Counterintelligence Investigations and Collection, DoD-0025) 
Abstract:

This rule proposes to exempt Counterintelligence Investigations and Collection, from 5 U.S.C. 552a(c)(3); (d)(1), (2), (3) and (4); (e)(1); (e)(4)(G), (H) and (I); and (f) of the Privacy Act, pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552a(k)(1), (k)(2), and (k)(5). The proposed exemptions aim to prevent disclosure of classified national security information, investigatory material compiled for law enforcement purposes, and employment suitability determinations. Certain requirements of the Privacy Act may interfere with the effective execution of these activities.
