| Title: ●Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Defense-Effectuation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Amendment | |
|
Abstract:
This rule would amend DoD regulations to eliminate disparate-impact liability. These amendments would align DoD's regulations with the text and original meaning of Title VI and current DoD policy. By reducing regulatory burden, they would also minimize compliance costs and ensure appropriate stewardship of taxpayer dollars. Finally, these revisions would implement the changes directed in Executive Order 14281. This rule would also make minor technical updates to correct outdated provisions. |
