| Abstract: This rulemaking will address sale and distribution of tobacco products involving Internet and mail-order transactions, and other transactions that involve a means "other than a direct, face-to-face exchange between a retailer and a consumer." Examples of these types of transactions include: (1) Mail-order-e.g., a print ad in a magazine that includes a phone number and/or web address for ordering a tobacco product; and (2) Internet-e.g., standard websites, such as an official website of cigarette brand or company/firm websites. | |
