| Title: Fish and Shellfish; Canned Tuna Standard of Identity and Standard of Fill of Container | |
|
Abstract:
FDA is amending the requirements for the canned tuna standard of identity and standard of fill of container. This rule will modernize and update these food standards in a number of technical ways and is in partial response to a citizen petition submitted by Bumble Bee Foods, LLC, StarKist Co., and Tri-Union Seafoods, LLC (doing business as Chicken of the Sea International). This action will promote honesty and fair dealing in the interest of consumers. |
