Title: Laboratory Fit Testing Requirements for Non-powered Air-Purifying Particulate Respirators
Abstract:

This rule proposes to establish minimum fit performance standards for the certification of non-powered air-purifying particulate respirators, not including full facepiece devices. The intent of the new standards will be to ensure that respirators submitted for approval are designed and constructed to have good face seal performance on the intended user population, when users are properly fit tested and trained.
