Title: ●Conditions of Participation (CoPs) for Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs)(CMS-3202-P) 
Abstract: This proposed rule would, for the first time ever, establish Conditions of Participation (CoPs) for community mental health centers (CMHCs). The rule focuses on patient-centered and outcome-oriented care and is based on four core requirements: 1) PatientÂ’s rights; 2) admission, assessment, and discharge; 3) treatment and coordination of services; and 4) governance. The objective of these requirements is to achieve a balanced regulatory approach, ensuring a CMHC furnishes health care that meets essential health and safety standards.
