Title: ●5-Year Period Approvals and Renewals for Waivers and Demonstration Projects (CMS-2323-P) 
Abstract: This rule, in response to provsions of the Affordable Care Act of 2010, clarifies that Medicaid waivers for coordinating care for dual eligible beneficiaries could be authorized for as long as five years. Any waiver that provides medical assistance for dual eligible individuals (including any such waivers under which non dual eligible individuals may be enrolled) may be conducted for a period of 5 years and, upon request of the State, may be extended for additional 5-year periods.
